June and July fill up faster than any other window for us — every family in the metroplex is trying to land before Labor Day. We book school-year moves 4–6 weeks ahead and stage the work so the kids' rooms are unpacked first.
On move day we set up the beds, set out the linens, and make sure the bus stop walk is mapped before we leave. Stuff that doesn't have to be unpacked tonight stays labeled and stacked, ready to come out as the family settles.
